Chip & Mindee – Owner

Chip has been drawing cars since the age of 8. He started in the car business in 1985 by leasing new automobiles to people with Multilease of Ohio. A career in information technologies contracted to both Ford and General Motors kept the automotive bug alive, joining Auto Assets in 1996 as a service advisor. An interest in Club, Historic and Vintage racing quickly developed Auto Assets into a large operation of “arrive and drive” automobile racing events. In 2001 Chip and Steve Southard drove to an impressive 23rd overall in the Sebring 12 Hours. Chip still competes in a 1997 Lola 97/90 Sports Racer and his 1971 Porsche 914-6, one that he has owned since 1997. When not working Chip spends time with his wife Mindee and their daughter Lilly.

Mindee owns Garage Massage with a studio located on the second floor of Auto Assets. Mindee is interested in “fixing” people that are broken in some way or another. If your massage therapist is letting you down or you would like to take care of yourself while Auto Assets takes care of your automobile, consider booking time with Mindee. AJ – TECHNICIAN

AJ has been in the car business in a variety of roles since 2001, starting in the parts department of a franchise store. AJ likes the variety of cars that we get to work on at Auto Assets. When you get to work on a Lotus one day and a Tesla the next; you have to be pretty sharp. AJ likes to spend time with his wife Angie and two sons when not working on his 1968 Pontiac GTO.

Mark – TECHNICIAN

Mark has been in the industry for 30+ years as an ASE senior Master Tech with formal training on many marques including Porsche, Aston Martin, Jaguar, and Land Rover. While away from the shop he enjoys racing vintage road race motorcycles, the outdoors, and spending quality time with family.

EDGAR S. – FINANCIAL MANAGER

Ed is a 2021 addition to our staff and brings a diverse background. During his younger years, he served in the United States Air Force and as a firefighter/paramedic for a local city government. Ed then returned to college and obtained his bachelor of science degree in accounting. He found his way to Auto Assets after 13 years of corporate accounting and now oversees Auto Assets’ finances. When Ed is not working, he enjoys time with his wife and daughter, exercising, hiking, swimming, and vacationing at Carolina beaches.

MJ – Technician

Hello, there! My name is MJ, and I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to share a bit about myself with you. With eight years of experience as a detailer, I’ve honed my skills and developed a keen eye for perfection. Recently, I made the transition to the role of a mechanic, leveraging my expertise and passion for automobiles to delve deeper into the inner workings of these remarkable machines.

While my professional journey has taken me from detailing to mechanics, there’s more to me than just my work. In my spare time, I have a few hobbies that bring me immense joy. One of my favorite pastimes is building Legos with my daughter. It’s a creative and engaging activity that allows us to bond and let our imaginations run wild. We also love attending Blue Jackets and Buckeyes games; giving me the opportunity to teach her about the sports and teams I love. Additionally, I’m an avid supporter of my daughter’s softball journey; I make it a point to attend her games, cheering her on from the sidelines and providing guidance to help her improve her skills. Seeing her grow and develop both on and off the field brings me great pride and happiness. Nothing brings me more joy than spending quality time with my daughter and parents, creating cherished memories together. They are my pillars of support and my biggest source of inspiration.
